6th Form Bursaries Funding & Application Forms

For financial help in 6th form there are 3 bursaries available:

These Bursaries aim to assist students with the essential costs of their courses, covering such items as books, trips, travel to school, equipment, Open days, educational courses and resources, UCAS application fees and so on.

The forms below gather the required information to assess eligibility for bursaries;

16-19 Discretionary Bursary, Bursary for Vulnerable Groups

Yr 12 Travel Funding for 3+ Miles – Fill in form

Free School Meals (FSM)

Free School Meals (FSM) must be applied for anew in 6th form. This is the link to the Dorset Council website:

16-19 Bursary Policy
  • Please note that the EFSA guidelines specify that bursaries can no longer be a fixed amount but must be awarded according to financial need. It is possible that reduced or no funds are awarded on application.
