Student Testimonials

“I have been at Ferndown Upper School for 5 years now, and I have enjoyed it all, sixth form being my favourite. Although there is a lot of work, our childcare course is great fun and it has provided me with many opportunities preparing me for my future. Not only giving me experience in a placement at a First School, and  a Montessori Nursery, but also leading me to a job offer upon leaving school and part time work whilst studying. Also, we have a small class and one teacher and we are a very close and supportive group.” – Charlotte Year 13

“The L3 Childcare and Education course provides an amazingly wide variety of opportunities and options for my future as it does not limited you to just working in a childcare setting or going to university to study teaching, you also have opportunities progress towards other career options such as other roles in a school, roles in special educational needs facilities, or a carer in social work or nursing.” – Georgia Year 12

“The CACHE course provides me with great opportunities to work in different and varied childcare and education settings, this supports my studies and gives me real insight into future career roles.” – Laura Year 12
